Each year Strathfieldsaye & Districts Community Enterprise provides grants of up to $5,000 each to not-for-profit organisations located in the Strathfieldsaye & Districts catchment area.

Bike Repair Stations
Dai Gum Loong
SDCE joined with our fellow community enterprises, Bendigo Northern District Community Enterprise - Bendigo Northern Districts Community Enterprise, Empowering Eaglehawk and Kangaroo Flat Community Enterprise to contribute a total of $20,000 to build Dai Gum Loong in August 2017.
Our $5,000 grant has supported the Quarry Hill Primary School to engage a local artist to design and paint a mural showing the six seasons of the Dja Dja Wurrung, a Welcome to Country gateway, indigenous seasonal gardens and Welcome to Country and Smoking ceremonies at the official opening of the bushland space.
SDCE is proud to provide Friends of the Bendigo-Kilmore Rail Trail with $3200 to build 2 bike repair stations on the O'Keefe Rail Trail. Stations have been constructed at Wilkie Road in Junortoun and at the park in Axedale and were available for riders in early 2019.
